Welcome to a community for truth-seekers—a place to return to The Torah, engage with its timeless truths, and uncover the hidden treasures that await the diligent and faithful. We honor the sacred Hebrew name of Yeshua, our Messiah, recognizing that His name was never “Jesus” in its original form but “Yeshua,” deeply rooted in the Hebrew language and culture. This reverence reflects the long history of the Jewish people, spanning millenniums of perseverance, covenant, and prophetic fulfillment.

The story of the Jewish people unfolds across thousands of years, from the promises made to Abraham to the establishment of Israel and the exiles that shaped their identity. Through decades, centuries, and millenniums of trials, triumphs, and faithfulness, the Jewish heritage remains a profound testament to the enduring nature of Elohim’s promises. The Jews wrote the Bible, faithfully recording the words of Elohim and preserving His commandments, prophecies, and history for generations. It is within this context that Yeshua, the promised Messiah, emerges, fulfilling the prophecies foretold in the Hebrew Scriptures.

Yeshua, known as Jesus, was an observant Jew who faithfully adhered to the Torah, celebrated the festivals, honored the Sabbath, and upheld God’s commandments. His teachings, rooted in Jewish tradition, pointed followers to the Father, urging them to pray, trust in His provision, and seek His kingdom. Yeshua said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments,” emphasizing obedience as the expression of true love for Him. He promised, “He who endures to the end shall be saved,” calling for steadfast love. Yeshua embraced the Torah, revealing its purpose as a guide to a deeper relationship with God.

Do Not Be Deceived

Do not be deceived!

In the last days, Yeshua warned of the rise of false prophets and teachers who would deceive many, leading them astray with persuasive words and counterfeit signs. When asked about the end of the age, He cautioned His followers to remain vigilant, saying, “See that no one leads you astray” (Matthew 24:4). Yeshua emphasized that these deceivers would come in His name, claiming authority they did not have, and their teachings would seek to undermine truth.

His words serve as a call to discernment, urging believers to anchor themselves in Scripture and the Spirit of Truth, standing firm against deception in these critical times. Walking in Yeshua’s footsteps requires more than merely identifying these false teachings; it calls for a life of active obedience and faithfulness to God’s commands.

Yeshua upheld the Torah, teaching that He did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets but to fulfill them (Matthew 5:17). He reinforced the importance of the commandments, saying, “Whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:19). Yeshua was a Jew, and the Jews wrote the Bible, faithfully recording the words of Elohim and preserving His commandments, prophecies, and history for generations, alongside the Oral Torah—later compiled into the Mishnah and expounded upon in the Talmud—which carried the nuances of their covenantal relationship with Elohim. These foundational teachings guide believers to align their lives with God’s will, focusing on justice, mercy, and faithfulness while not neglecting the weightier matters of the law (Matthew 23:23).

Yeshua Jesus also taught by example, modeling humility and servanthood. He washed His disciples’ feet, instructing them to do likewise, symbolizing the importance of serving one another in love (John 13:14-15). He demonstrated complete reliance on God, often retreating to pray in solitude, showing the necessity of maintaining a deep and personal relationship with the Father (Luke 5:16). Yeshua’s life was a testament to obedience, even unto death, as He submitted to the Father’s will in the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:42).

Walking in Yeshua Jesus footsteps also means resisting the temptation to conform to worldly patterns. Yeshua taught to “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33) and to lay up treasures in heaven rather than on earth (Matthew 6:19-20). His Sermon on the Mount provides a blueprint for kingdom living, urging believers to be peacemakers, pure in heart, and salt and light in the world (Matthew 5:3-16).

By following Yeshua’s teachings and example, believers are called to live counter-culturally, prioritizing God’s kingdom over societal pressures. This includes keeping the Sabbath holy, honoring God’s dietary laws, and observing His appointed times, as Yeshua Himself did. These practices not only deepen one’s relationship with God but also act as a shield against the deceptions of false teachers.

In these critical times, standing firm means embodying Yeshua’s teachings in action, thought, and intention. It is not enough to merely identify truth; believers must live it through love, obedience, humility, and steadfast commitment to God’s Word. By doing so, they reflect Yeshua Jesus light, becoming His witnesses in a world that desperately needs the clarity and hope only He can provide.

The Son of God: Biblical Evidence

The Bible presents Yeshua as the Son of God in numerous passages, affirming His divine nature and unique relationship with Elohim. In Matthew 3:17, during Yeshua’s baptism, a voice from heaven declares, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.” This event highlights the affirmation of His identity directly from God.

In John 1:14, it is written, “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” This passage explains Yeshua’s divine origin as the Word of God made human.

Yeshua Himself claimed His unique relationship with God. In John 10:30, He stated, “I and the Father are one.” This assertion angered some religious leaders of the time, who saw it as blasphemy, further emphasizing the radical nature of His claim.

Yeshua’s Name: Was It Jesus?

The name “Jesus” is a transliteration from the Greek “Iēsous,” which was used in the New Testament writings. However, Yeshua’s original name in Hebrew was “Yehoshua” or its shorter form, “Yeshua.” This name means “Salvation” or “The Lord is Salvation.”

The transition to “Jesus” occurred as the Gospel spread to Greek-speaking regions, and the name was adapted to fit the phonetic and linguistic norms of those areas. First use of the name “Jesus” anywhere on the planet was in 1632. A couple hundred years later, in 1845 the Southern Baptist religion was created. I digress. While “Jesus” is the most common name used in English-speaking Christian traditions, “Yeshua” connects us to His Hebrew roots and the cultural context in which He lived.

Was Yeshua the Son of God, the Almighty?

The concept of Yeshua as the Son of God is central to Christian faith. It signifies His unique nature as both fully divine and fully human. His life, death, and resurrection are seen as the fulfillment of ancient prophecies about the Messiah.

In Isaiah 9:6, a prophecy describes the coming Messiah: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Christians interpret this as pointing to Yeshua’s divine role.

Yeshua’s resurrection, as described in the Gospels, is often cited as evidence of His divine nature. In Romans 1:4, Paul writes that Yeshua “was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by His resurrection from the dead.”
